At approximately 7:07 pm on Friday night, a male entered Jacobson’s Ace Hardware and robbed the store, located at 28 S Main Street in Rice Lake.
The suspect was wearing dark grey pants, a long dark coat, dark blue undershirt, and a blue hat that featured an American flag face-mask. The male voice was all that was left.
He ordered the employee to register. Although the employee didn’t see a gun in the suspect’s hand, he did have an object in his jacket pocket. He motioned to have it taken. The safe was taken from reach by approximately $756
The suspect fled on foot. It is not known whether the suspect was driving a car. Later, a jacket was found with a hat.
