MARTINEZ, Ga. — A Georgia lawn worker fell into a residential pool and drowned while weighed down by equipment, authorities said.

Keontae (22 years old) was wearing a leaf blower to the back while he worked in an Augusta suburb. WDRW-TV reported.
Vernon Collins, Columbia County Coroner, stated that Alston fell into the pool while he was working, and that the leaf blower’s weight prevented him from getting out of the water. WJBF-TV reported.
According to reports, Alston was pulled from the pool by a co-worker and the homeowner. WGAC Radio. Radio. WDRW reported.
Collins reported that Collins was declared dead at 6 :06 p.m. EDT.
