Ace works with the VFW to give away 1 million American flags for Memorial Day tributes
OAK BROOK, Ill., May 23, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — 23 May, 2022–Ace Hardware is collaborating with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) once again this year to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country by giving away 1 million American flags nationwide on Saturday, May 28th 2008, 2022.
Ace participating shops welcome customers to come and visit them. May 28thReceive a 8-inch free of charge” x 12″ American flag*. A local VFW Post will donate another flag to honor the graves and mark the Memorial Day of veterans.

Ace stores across the nation gave away more than 500,000 American flags in 2013. Ace also sent 550,000 flags out to more than 1,900 VFW Posts in order to place them on veterans’ graves.
